What We’re Doing in Lockdown

Posted on: April 16th, 2020

So … just as we were about to do the British Craft Trade Fair 2020 in Harrogate, Lock down happened. Rob attended Top Drawer in January this year and supplied pots to many customers, we were ready with new work to do the show, and then This…

So since this has happened, Rob is unable to go to the workshop in Boyton, so we have been doing certain jobs which we have put off for months! and I have had a few days making. I am now glazing and decorating, for a couple of orders which I will send when Brewery Arts in Cirencester opens and The Craft Shop in Newcastle.

Last year at the Devon Guild I supplied several bowls called “This Summer” to the Summer Exhibition, so as part of my making now I am going to submit several bowls called “This Spring” decorated with flowers and seedlings coming through just now.

So … we have to try and look ahead.

The BCTF are hoping to put on an online interactive show in June around the 21st and 22nd, to enable galleries to buy for Christmas.

The Devon Guild of Craftsmen, in Bovey Tracey, are working to promote work on a new online presence whilst the lock down is on.

Rob is exhibiting at Art in Clay in Farnham 14th to 15th November 2020

Then BCTF 2021!!

So it’s all very different…
